Patriso Streamlines Maintenance Across 120 Properties with FixForm
With FixForm, Patriso tenants can quickly report issues, and repairs are handled faster—giving CEO Saddy Sooghen her nights back!
Patriso and FixForm: Keeping Rental Properties Running Smoothly
Patriso, a property management company, uses FixForm across all of its 120 rental properties. Tenants can now report issues more easily, and landlords can solve them faster. Plus, CEO Saddy Sooghen finally gets to enjoy uninterrupted sleep at night!
“We were mainly looking for a post-rental service,” Saddy explains. “Something always goes wrong in a rental property—anything from a squeaky door to a broken light, or even a boiler malfunction. Tenants used to call me for every little thing. And while some issues are urgent, nine times out of ten, they can wait until the next day. But that didn’t stop my phone from ringing at 2 a.m.!”
“We needed a solution that would not only cut down the number of calls but also streamline how we track and resolve all these issues. It was hard to keep track of which problems had been fixed and which were still pending.”
“I came across FixForm online, and it’s been a game-changer: issues are solved faster and more efficiently, and (laughs) I’m finally getting a good night’s sleep!”
QR Codes for the Win
Patriso has placed QR codes on the electrical panels of all its properties, as Saddy explains: “Furniture might move, but the electrical panel stays put. Tenants just scan the QR code, upload a photo, describe the issue, and the request automatically lands on my desk. I instantly know what’s wrong and how urgent it is. With one click, I can send it to the plumber, electrician, or whoever is needed to fix it.”
“We now have one clear process for solving problems in our rental properties. Before FixForm, things were a lot more chaotic. Tenants would try any possible route to get their problems fixed. For example, a tenant might have an issue with their boiler but call the electrician who installed their sockets. The result? Problems weren’t getting solved, and contractors were frustrated with calls for issues outside their expertise. Thanks to FixForm’s QR codes, there’s now one clear way to report a problem and get it solved.”
Clearer, Faster Solutions
Problems are now getting solved faster, too. “Before FixForm, a tenant would call to explain the issue to me, and I would then have to explain it to the professional—like a game of telephone. Things would get lost in translation. Now tenants just upload a photo, and it’s immediately clear what’s wrong.”
Easy for Everyone
Patriso needed a simple solution, Saddy says. “Tenants come and go, and we didn’t want them needing a full-on training session to use the system. FixForm is super easy to use and very intuitive. Tenants get a one-page guide on how to use the app, but honestly, it explains itself. You scan the QR code, follow the steps, and boom, you’re done. Anyone can do it. You don’t need to be a tech genius.”
“The language barrier isn’t really an issue. The photo is the key. Our tenants are mostly diplomats and expats who speak English. So they provide the short description in English, but if they want to use FixForm in another language, they can easily set that up.”
“On the contractor side, they adapted to FixForm quickly too. I added all of them to the system, and they’re now used to getting repair requests via the app. The only thing that still needs some work is making sure they close out the tasks once they’ve finished. Sometimes jobs remain marked as open even though the problem’s been fixed. I follow up and update it myself for now. But at the end of the day, the main thing is that issues are getting fixed—faster and more efficiently than ever.”
