01. 2020, where it started

It started in a care home.

FixForm grew out of an idea by Stefan Willems, then facility manager at the Dijledal care home. Every day he saw a small problem travel a very long way before anyone could fix it.

A resident has a problem in their room and tells the nurse. The nurse passes it on to the head nurse, who tells the director, who tells the facility department. Until it finally lands with the handyman.

The fix: a simple form behind a QR code.

Whoever spots a problem scans the QR code, fills in a short form, and the report goes straight to the person who has to fix it. With the right information and the right location attached. No more chain of messengers.

Stefan founded the company together with Boris Bogaert of Pitchdrive and Thomas Van Humbeeck, in partnership with Boris's brother Lorenz Bogaert, Wim Derkinderen and Koen Christiaans.
